Executive Summary
The objective of this project was to improve how managers conduct performance reviews. After speaking with many colleagues, they have shared their frustrations with annual performance reviews. They often find them meaningless, biased, provide no real direction on how to improve, and lack any follow-up. As a result, many employees don't take them seriously.
Challenge
Many supervisors do not have a game plan with completing an employee performance review. they often meet at the last possible moment, have no agenda planned, and do not provide any follow-up. Supervisors need to lean how to conduct a successful review in a quick and easy to view format.
Solution
To overcome these challenges, I devised a simple eLearning course using Articulate Rise. The program would allow any company the opportunity to provide training for new and existing managers, and set company expectations for conducting meaningful performance reviews.
Results
Anticipated results would be that annual performance reviews would become meaningful for both the employee and the manager. They would focus on setting goals that would support and increase employee effectiveness.
