The Challenge
Managing a multi‑step video production workflow can quickly become disorganized without a clear system. Tasks like scripting, recording, editing, and uploading often live in different places, making it difficult to track progress, maintain consistency, and keep deadlines visible.
The Solution
I created a Trello project board that organizes the entire workflow into structured lists and detailed task cards. Each card includes labels, due dates, checklists, attachments, and comments to centralize resources and communication. I also added an automation rule that moves completed tasks into the “Completed” list, reducing manual steps and keeping the board clean and up to date.
The Results
The final workflow provides a simple, repeatable system that keeps every stage of video production organized and easy to follow. The automation ensures tasks move smoothly through the process, improving visibility and reducing administrative effort. This solution demonstrates how a lightweight tool like Trello can streamline project management and support efficient content creation

The project began with defining the workflow goals and identifying the essential steps involved in producing a video tutorial. I outlined the structure of the Trello board, determined the key tasks, and planned how each element—lists, cards, labels, and automation—would support a clear, intuitive user experience. I then began writing a script for this tutorial.
I created a detailed storyboard to map out the visual flow of the tutorial. This included the sequence of actions, on‑screen demonstrations, narration cues, and transitions. The storyboard ensured the tutorial was organized, visually consistent, and aligned with the learning objectives and scrip before recording began.
Using the storyboard as a guide, I built the full tutorial by recording the screen capture, editing the footage, adding narration, and refining timing and clarity. I incorporated visual highlights, smooth transitions, and clear instructional pacing to create a polished, easy‑to‑follow final video
